So I've noticed that a lot of us love asking for help when we get stuck on a plot point, and a ton of us love to give advice (by "us" I mean writers in general). So are you stuck on your WiP? Do you need some help? Or do you think you can give some advice to the ones that are a little lost? Then come on down and jump on in!

anyway, I was writing a story about Akurei's life and hit a snag....

tooo much bad stuff not enough good.

I think we need to make Akurei's life more fun and bright and less depressing so i can write about it! haha

Okay, I have a question. My main character, Kate, refuses to speak after she believes she caused her father's death. Do you think she would still make incomprehensible noises (ex. groans, loud yawns, etc.) or no?

I thought she would, but I want to see what you think.

it depends. if she's mute, like gone yada yada then she makes the motions not the noise
if morbidly depressed then a lot of deep sighs and groans
if just depressed then sighs, groans, and other noises just no words. really depends on the character and situation

i agree with angela. if she's mute then she cant say a thing, but groans, sighs, any kind of noise really
